I got here from tracing a figure and altering it to portray one of my OCs, Corellia, as a pirate. I did not draw this all by myself, and my proof is that hand. "Lizard hand," it has been called. If I'd drawn this myself and actually cared to do good work, the hand would actually look right. I try to get hands correct, if nothing else. You can also tell that I put little work into this by the eyepatch--it's just what you'd think: a copout so I don't have to get the eyes symmetrical. Same with the "mist" being a copout so I wouldn't have to mess with the feet.

I did this for two reasons. One, I hated my quick first try and wanted a second try without taking too long. [link] Two, I had an idea about the sword. It looks like a mosaic here, which is still wrong, but it's better than I've been able to explain so far.

There is a colored version ( [link] ) by Nobalsky of GaiaOnline. Those are the correct colors, although the coat could just as easily be a blue, gray, or bluegray, and the shades aren't set. Also, he made her sword blue. I don't really mind, I think it looks cool and balances the picture, but the crystal sword is clear, at most a tiny bit smoky with white. Eh. There are a few things that could be colored differently, but this will do. I may have paid more than I should have for it, under the circumstances, but it will do.
